On July 15, 2017, we celebrated what would have been David's 35th birthday with a cocktail party and silent auction at Avery's Bar and Lounge in the H Street Corridor to raise funding for opportunities for young minority professionals in the D.C. area. All proceeds from the event will go to support the David Baldwin Barnes Internships with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and the Congressional Black Associates.
